Please take a few minutes to review a note on how this forum works best!
For organizational purposes the forum is divided into the following categories or levels:
The First division, or level is the generalized categories of TYPE. This division includes not only the canonical scripture division (Pentateuch, Wisdom Literature, The Letters of Paul, etc...) but also non-canonical elements that make up the structural aspect of a common bible.
This includes elements in the front of the bible, before scripture noted as, "Front Matter" and those elements typically found in the back of a common bible, after scripture, here categorized as "Back Matter."
Additionally, there is listed a major category, or type labeled, "Design." This category is intended for discussions pertaining to design elements of a common bible such as, but not limited to, paper quality, page layout, stylistic design elements, front, back, and spine layout, etc...
There is a "General Discussion" category intended for discussions on topics which do not pertain to the actual development or design of a bible. examples of such discussions might include topics about software and hardware configuration or any other topics of interest to the team of volunteers.
The second division, or level is the major category of "Book Name." For canonical reference this is self-explanatory as reference points for each of the sixty-six books of canonical scripture.
Finally, the third division, or level denotes "Chapter Number" pertaining to the book type and book name of the discussion at hand.
All of these divisions are organized by the software as "tags" with the first two divisions being, "primary tags" and the third division being, "secondary tags."
The proper way to tag a post for discussion
If you wished to discuss David's encounter with Goliath you would select the primary tags "Historical Books", then "1 Samuel" and finally in secondary tags, "Chapter 17." It is also useful to know that choosing "1 Samuel" will automatically select "Historical Books" as a primary tag as well since "1 Samuel" is a subdivision found in The Historical books!
Obviously, noting only, "Chapter 17" would not be helpful since there are multiple books of the bible with "chapter 17" as a chapter number.
