PART I: ORGANIZATION
.
For organizational purposes this forum is divided into the following category levels represented by primary tags and secondary tags.
.
LEVEL 1. STRUCTURAL TYPE - This division includes those elements that make up the structural aspects of a protestant bible. These elements include:
canonical scripture divisions - Pentateuch, Wisdom Literature, The Letters of Paul, etc...
non-canonical elements - Organizational or informational sections found in the front or back of a common bible (Table of Content, Forward, Maps, etc...).
Design - This category is intended for discussions pertaining to design elements of a common bible such as, but not limited to, paper quality, page layout, stylistic design elements, front, back, and spine layout, etc...
General Discussion - Discussions on topics which do not pertain to the actual development or design of a bible. examples of such discussions might include topics about software and hardware configuration or any other topics of general interest to the team of volunteers.
-
LEVEL 2. BOOK NAME - Referring to each of the sixty-six books of canonical scripture.
.
LEVEL 3. CHAPTER NUMBER - The numbered chapter pertaining to the BOOK TYPE and BOOK NAME of the discussion at hand.
.
.
EXAMPLE: The proper way to tag a post for discussion
If you wished to discuss David's encounter with the giant, Goliath:
- Select the primary tag "Historical Books", and "1 Samuel."
- Next, Select secondary tag "Chapter 17."
*It is also useful to know that choosing "1 Samuel" will automatically select "Historical Books" as a primary tag as well since "1 Samuel" is a subdivision found in The Historical books!
*Obviously, noting only, "Chapter 17" would not be helpful since there are multiple books of the bible with "chapter 17" as a chapter number.
